DESCRIPTION:The International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ISAC) is an international society which is also a registered charity (www. ISAC.world). ISAC aims to advance the education and the science of therapy of infection through the establishment of an international federation of affiliated national and regional societies with similar aims and objectives to those of the Charity. One of its main activities is the International Congress of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (ICC). The ICC has been held around the globe every two years since 1959. The 33rd ICC will be held in Istanbul\, Turkey from 3 to 6 November 2024\, in conjunction with the Turkish Society of Hospital Infections and Control (HIDER) (www.hider.org.tr).
